About Us
My name is Larry Newberry, owner and operator of Newberry’s Hobby shop and have been interested in R/C cars, airplanes, and boats since the mid 1970’s.
I opened Newberry’s Hobby shop in 2002 in order to support the local area with quality R/C items and accessories. For the car enthusiasts we have an indoor dirt race track, which is heated in the winter, and a pit area that accommodates 40 people. For the air enthusiasts we have a large airfield on site for AMA members and guests.
We offer nitro or electric 1/8 and 1/10 scale car brands of Mugen, Ofna, Associated, Losi Odonnell and Traxxas, along with O. S., Dynamite, Ofna RV Concepts and Werks engines. Also we try to support what we sell through our store.
We offer nitro or electric airplane brands of Hangar 9, Great Planes, Sig, Model Tech, Super Kraft, Segul, World Models, Goldberg, Hobbico and Elite along with O. S., Saito, Ex Magnum and Irvine engines. Also we try to support what we sell through our store.
Along with the above we also offer JR and Futaba radios, paint, balsa wood, props, wheels, fuel tanks, fuel, Ultracote and Monokote.
With most products it is almost impossible to have all the parts on hand, but with us we can usually have the item within 24 hours.
